Woodstock is one of Cape Town's oldest suburbs with massive charm. It is ever evolving with a bustling art scene, cafes, and great restaurants. Being so closely located to Cape Town City Centre makes it an ideal base for travellers.
 

With this in mind, Robin had his eye on a run-down building in the area for years. When the opportunity presented itself he took it on as a project and turned it into chic, edgy apartments. He made friends and connections with other property owners in the area, and together they are pushing to lift Woodstock to its full potential.

It took little under a year to completely strip and renovate the top floor into two spacious, high-ceiling loft apartments. The inspiration for the interior came from Robin's personal taste for New York charm and urban luxury. Most of the Furniture and the kitchen was custom made locally by in2wood.

The west facing side has beautiful views of Table Mountain and Lion's head and boasts beautiful African sunsets through the ceiling high windows that fully open. The Eastward apartment looks over Woodstock and gives you a feeling of city life while having your own calm space to come back to. The full length windows on the East side are double glazed to block out the sound of the city below. 

Now, the middle floor is being renovated to four medium-sized apartments, two of which have two bedrooms and two with single ensuite bedrooms. The middle floor apartments will have the same classic New York style interior with face brick, custom kiat wood kitchens, and urban chic touches.

 

Robin being an entrepreneur of many interests also runs an Adventure company, Sahara Down Adventures which offers trips in and around the cape which is a great addition to any holiday. You can choose from pre-planned adventures or create your own if there is something specific you would like to see or experience. 

He also operates Sahara Down SUV Rental, a luxury SUV Rental company. NYinCT guests get a discounted rate so you can spend your time in Cape Town travelling and exploring at your own pace.
 

Taking the time to renovate the building and create something beautiful and lifting the area has had it's challenges but proved incredibly rewarding.
