Woodstock is just steps away from some of the main attractions in Cape Town, being just 4km away from the City Centre. 

With a rental vehicle or uber it is easy to get around and there is always plenty to do and see.

Shopping

V&A Waterfront

Shopping mall by the harbour with all the shops you need and lots of restaurants and activities. 

The Old Biscuit Mill

A permanent market for bespoke crafts, leather items and trendy coffee shops and restaurants. 


Lower Main Road, Observatory
This is where you will find all the vintage clothing stores on a vibey street with antique shops, cafés and restaurants. 

Nature Activities

Table Mountain
Table mountain is the back drop of the city and is full of hiking trails for a day spent in nature. The cable car is an option for a beautiful ride to the top. 

Lions head is an easy hike for that can be done in an hour to the top and the views from the top are epic!

Blouberg & Clifton Beach
During the windy summer season Blouberg beach, also known as kite beach, is great to visit if you want to watch some of the worlds best kite surfers practice among the waves. 
For a day out, Clifton Beach is vibey with lots of shops and restaurants. You can rent loungers and umbrellas on the beach.

 

Two Oceans Aquarium and Planetarium
Perfect rainy day activities to keep you close to nature. 
The aquarium has big impressive tanks with sharks, sea turtles and fishes, a jelly fish exhibition, penguins and loads more.
The digital dome shows at the planetarium are impressive and educational experiences.

Arts & Culture

Zeits Museum of Contemporary Art Africa
The biggest contemporary art museum in Africa located in the Waterfront. 

Iziko South African Museum

A large collection of natural specimens, historical tools and culturally significant items. The planetarium is located in the museum.

 

The Labia Theatre 

Cape Town's oldest movie theatre. This is a cinema with a vibe. Go a little early and have some drinks or get a drink and old school snacks to take with you in to the cinema. They show new movies and old classics.

Artscape Theatre Centre
Cape Town's performing art centre. There are always shows on featuring things like theatre, opera, orchestras, dance etc.
